As a fundamental principle, Google has two goals. These goals are the basis of Google's existence and have therefore always remained its core values. These goals are;
Delivering the most relevant, up-to-date, reliable and authoritative source in the search results pages (SERPs). User experience with relevant content, internal links and a mobile-friendly website is hugely important!
Creating a network of resources, by encouraging websites to post links to other websites (backlinks).
SEO responds to Google's previously mentioned goals. We place content on your site that is related to the search terms you want your site to be easy to find. We also incorporate those search terms into the content and then optimise both the relevant pages and the entire website to meet those basic Google principles.
Google indexes every website, but also the content on the sites. A link is then given a certain value based on important SEO scores.
Think of the battle for a #1 position in Google as a kind of election. Here, you can think of backlinks as the votes. The more votes, the better your position. The important difference, however, is that Google judges the quality of each vote in addition to quantity.

With link building, we create a network of backlinks. We also call this a Backlink Profile. Backlinks are basically links that point from an external site to your website. If a link is relevant to a particular topic (often something to do with the search term), this affects your score on relevant keywords. Your positions in search results will increase as a result.
Link building can be done on websites with low SEO values for quite competitive rates. This is a low-threshold way to collect a lot of links and is effective for a beginning SEO campaign. In the long run, however, you want to start focusing on the quality of your backlinks. Then you can switch to guest blogging. This works the same as regular link building, but is often done on blog and news websites with high SEO ratings and usually actual visitors! Digishock has a wide selection of guest blogging opportunities.
A landing page is the page in your website where a visitor enters. So the homepage is not your only landing page! By referring backlinks to other pages, you create more landing pages.
In today's society, Google has become indispensable. Even with the advent of powerful AI like ChatGPT from OpenAI. If you are looking for a car garage, want to know how to fix something or need the recipe for a tasty pizza.... The thinking is "just Google it".
What is also natural in our modern society is competition. Simply put, you simply lose out if you do nothing about your online visibility. And when it comes to online visibility, search engine optimisation is a must-have.
Actually, this is the question every entrepreneur wants answered, but no real marketer can make promises about this. We are happy to explain why.
Google's search algorithm is a complex and constantly evolving system. Moreover, Google keeps their techniques and methodologies strictly secret. However, it is estimated that there are several hundred factors that determine position in search results.
Our job is to uncover as many of those unknown factors as possible and influence them so that your positions in Google rise. Every website, page and even search term reacts differently to the work we do, because Google's algorithm also takes your competition into account. If you are the only one doing SEO, you will achieve a top position for the relevant search term faster than if you want to score for a keyword for which others are also making an effort.
Fortunately, we conduct quarterly telephone evaluation interviews with our clients. In it, we discuss;
the work carried out,
the results achieved,
Whether the results match the set goals,
if not, what else are we going to do?
You can play with that quite a lot! It often depends on how many keywords you want to target and how quickly you want to see results. For this, it is best to schedule a consultation with us. We will also make a keyword analysis and possibly a competition analysis for you.
Still, we won't leave you out in the cold with your question. To run an effective SEO campaign, you need to spend at least a few hours a month on link building or website optimisation. This is why we usually work with a minimum budget of €800, excluding VAT.
Is that too much for now? Get in touch anyway. We would still like to discuss your case and who knows, we might be able to work for less.
