StartUp Nijmegen

StartUp Nijmegen offers cheap flex workspaces to starting entrepreneurs in the heart of Nijmegen, right next to Nijmegen CS.

As a visitor, the website looks fairly simple and informative. Not so. In fact, StartUp is a vibrant entrepreneurial community. For instance, they regularly organise workshops, get-togethers, knowledge sessions and more. They like to showcase these events on the website.

Also, StartUp offers several meeting rooms that members can reserve. Such a flexible reservation system can get quite complex, especially if those meeting rooms are also regularly used to hold sparring sessions with affiliated partners.

The existing website could not facilitate this. So Digishock redid the website in the same style, but with a cleaner code base and retaining the chosen CMS: WordPress.

Gardenopia

In the start of 2024, we were able to realise a webshop for two young entrepreneurs selling garden furniture and related accessories. The challenge for these guys was in the logistics. It was not yet possible for them to keep their own stock.

A link was therefore made with the supplier. The assortment is automatically loaded and updated and the stock on the webshop is synchronised with the supplier's stock, so Tuintopia can deliver directly from that stock.

After a somewhat bumpy start, the first Google Ads campaigns went live in June, breaking even on the advertising budget in week 1!

Desimo mattresses

Known throughout Nijmegen just for its motorway billboards. Let alone its endless friendliness. Hayco Hendriks is the mattress man and has been making customised mattresses for motorhomes, caravans, boats, trucks and at home for years!

Desimatrassen' desire is unique, thanks to the nature of the product. Namely, they sell customised mattresses. From unique shapes and roundings to the foam type, firmness and cover. To be able to put together a mattress online, Digishock realised its own mattress configurator based on WooCommerce.

By using WooCommerce, Desimatrassen is enabled to sell regular products such as bedding alongside its customised products.
